I earned my 200-hour yoga teaching certificate through the Salty Buddha School of Yoga in Peabody, MA; I went on to obtain a 20-hour Yin teaching certificate. My classes combine powerful, strong poses, alongside grounding breath work and energizing music. As a licensed therapist, I take a trauma-informed approach to teaching, offering options so that every student is empowered to move in a way that feels good to them.
Through a lighthearted approach to teaching, I aim to guide my students into a place where they experience harmony with their bodies.
The word Tula in Sanskrit means balance. Yoga is a practice of balance - so whether you are bowing into dancer for the first time (a favorite of mine!) or flowing through a Sun A, my classes invite you into a mindful balance between movement and stillness, effort and ease.
